Turn
Up The Heat
What to do when the pressures of life heat up.
The other day,
after our self-cleaning oven completed its cleaning cycle and I wiped up
the disintegrated debris, I thought, "Wouldn’t it be great if we could do
the same thing with our lives? Just turn up the heat and all of the debris
simply disintegrates?"
Well, in a way,
we can. In times of turmoil and trial, when the pressures of life heat up,
if we will cling to God and hold fast to His Word, the debris does
disintegrate.
And we, the
circumstances, and the trial are made right. We are
refined - tried by fire - to more than ever before, trust in our
faithful Heavenly Father.
Turn up the heat.
